About us
Vornbaeumen Steel Wire Ropes was founded in 1889 and manufactures steel wire ropes, steel wires and components for operating hoists. Special and standard wire ropes from Vornbäumen are used worldwide on crane systems in harbours, energy and raw material production, industry, building and construction, alpine and forestry. Among the customers are Chinese OEMs such as ZPMC, Sany, Dalian and others. Actuating hoist components from Vornbäumen can be found in the products of many German and European car manufacturers and in the aircraft industry. Its unique strength is the production and refinement of wires in its own wire drawing mill.
