Products & Services
On bauma CHINA 2026, Wachendorff will present the WDGN series incremental encoder configuration via NFC, economical Incremental Encoder WDGI, non-contact Optical SpeedMATE, inclination Sensors and PROFINET Absolute Encoder WDGA.
WDGN series incremental encoder that can be individually configured using NFC via a smartphone. The encoder series, with typical diameters of 36 mm and 58 mm, consists of shaft encoders and hollow shaft encoders. Due to high quality electronics, any number of pulses up to 16,384 via NFC configurable.
This assembly line focuses on the assembly of WDGI series magnetic incremental encoders, including models 36C, 36E, 58B, and 58E, meeting the needs of most industries. It can resolution ranges from 1 to 16384 ppr, with flexible selection available. Economical incremental encoder WDGI supports TTL/HTL signals, enabling adaptive matching based on power supply without complex settings.
Wachendorff has launched the speedMATE non-contact optical sensor, which integrates an incremental encoder and a programmable trigger in one unit. Non-contact measurement ensures no slippage, and the sensor is plug‑and‑play, delivering a simple, universal and innovative solution for production. Compared with measuring wheels and other mechanical, speedMATE® achieves higher measuring accuracy and does not damage materials due to mechanical wear.
Inclination sensors support static and dynamic versions, equipped with IO-Link, CANopen and analog output interfaces (4-20mA, 0-10V configurable via IO-Link), with single-axis or dual-axis models available.
The WDGA series PROFINET absolute encoders adopts a battery-free, gearless magnetic encoder principle. The single-turn resolution reaches up to 16 bits (65,536 positions per revolution), and the QuattroMag® technology delivers an accuracy and repeatability of ±0.0878° with an internal cycle time of just 50 µs. The multi-turn resolution goes up to 43 bits (supporting up to 2⁴³ revolutions), stabilized by the EnDra® technology. Additionally, the encoders feature a new sensor and interface board to ensure high performance and maximum reliability.
World’s First NFC-Configurable Incremental Encoder
Wachendorff launches the world’s first incremental encoder WDGN series supporting NFC connection, which enables parameter configuration via mobile APP.
Available in outer diameters from 36 mm to 58 mm; pulses can be configured from 1 to 16,384 ppr via NFC.
Thanks to high-quality electronic components, any pulse rate up to 16,384 ppr can be configured through NFC.
HTL/TTL output is configurable via NFC.
The overall protection grade reaches IP67; shaft protection is available in IP65, IP67 or IP69K options.
High output frequency up to 1 MHz.
Operating voltage: 4.75~32 VDC, with reverse polarity and short-circuit protection.
The new WDGN incremental encoder series allows configuration of any pulse resolution from 1 to 16,384 ppr via NFC. It is offered in Basic and Advanced versions, with the Advanced model supporting extended parameter settings. Simply download the dedicated APP on your smartphone. You can set and configure all required parameters without physical contact or power supply to the encoder — configuration can even be completed through the original packaging.
Economical Incremental Encoder WDGI
Available outer diameter: 36 mm to 58 mm; pulses configurable from 1 to 16,384 ppr.
Output signal supports HTL / TTL (at 5 V supply).
Overall protection class: IP67; shaft protection optional: IP65, IP67 or IP69K.
Max output frequency up to 1 MHz.
Operating voltage: 5~30 VDC, with reverse polarity and short-circuit protection.
Mechanical mounting is fully compatible with mainstream Japanese encoders.
Non-contact Optical SpeedMATE
Non-contact detection
Integrates incremental encoder and programmable trigger in one unit.
Plug-and-play.
No slippage.
Compact design.
SpeedMATE can measure the speed of moving tracks and individual goods to monitor, control and regulate the system.
SpeedMATE also performs triggering functions. For instance, in labeling equipment, it instantly outputs a start pulse once a predefined incremental value is reached. SpeedMATE is suitable for almost all types of materials and surfaces — even reflective and smooth glass surfaces.
