digsy® fusion S Modular Safety Controller
The digsy® fusion S is a 2nd-generation 32-bit modular safety controller designed for mobile machinery. Built on a redundant architecture, it achieves Performance Level d (PL d) / Category 3 according to EN ISO 13849, and AgPL d according to ISO 25119 / EN 16590. It is freely programmable according to IEC 61131-3 using CODESYS 3.5 SIL2. Based on a safety CPU board with 48 I/Os and communication interfaces, the system can be expanded by up to 4 additional I/O modules (48 I/Os each), supporting a maximum of 240 safe or standard I/Os. It supports parallel execution of two independent programs: a safety program and a standard program for comfort functions. The standard program operates interference-free and cannot affect the safety program, allowing fast modifications without extensive safety analysis. Complex mathematical calculations can also be performed in the safety context via a redundant floating-point unit (FPU). Equipped with 1 Ethernet and 4 CAN bus interfaces, it provides full connectivity to sensors, controllers, displays and IoT gateways. Thanks to a large internal file system and dedicated logging memory, configuration files can be stored directly on the device. It also includes FRAM for safe, redundant data retention. The USB port supports memory expansion as well as on-site service and software updates. With CODESYS 3.5 SIL2, developers benefit from a powerful environment that supports both safety and standard programming within the same toolchain.
digsy® fusion E Compact Controller
The digsy® fusion E is an extremely compact, low-cost, high-performance controller designed for mobile machinery applications. The safety variant features an integrated Emergency-Stop function (compliant with DIN EN ISO 13850), enabling direct connection to an emergency stop button. With 47 multifunctional I/Os (up to 31 outputs) and free programmability according to IEC 61131-3 using CODESYS 3.5, it delivers the performance needed to fully automate vehicles or machinery. The integrated E-stop functionality helps save space and reduce system costs, while the compact form factor is ideal for applications requiring high I/O density in a small footprint. It also serves as a cost-effective I/O expansion module in complex distributed systems. Complete with 3 CAN buses, 1 Ethernet port and 1 USB interface, the digsy® fusion E offers all essential connectivity for modern mobile automation.
digsy® fusion S-P Modular High-Performance Safety Controller
digsy® fusion S-P is a modular, high-performance safety controller for mobile machinery. It offers up to 4 GB file system and 15 MB application memory, equipped with 8 CAN interfaces, 2 Ethernet ports and USB. The multifunctional I/O is scalable from 48 to 192 channels, each configurable as safe or standard. It is programmable via CODESYS 3.5 SIL2.
This controller is designed for high-demand applications. Powered by a 400 MHz CPU with FPU, it provides superior performance compared to conventional automation solutions and enables advanced machine functions.
Large memory capacity supports long-term detailed data logging and extensive configuration storage, such as load charts for complete machine series.
With 8 CAN buses, 2 Ethernet ports, USB and RS-232, it collects, stores and transmits all common machine data as required. It supports standard protocols including CANopen, CANopen Safety, J1939, OPC UA, Modbus TCP, FTP, UDP and TCP/IP. Convenient access via integrated web server is also available.
easy 280 Pre‑certified MEWP Software Package
easy 280 is a software package for implementing basic functions of Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWP), based on the certified safety controller digsy® fusion S.
It includes a pre‑certified CODESYS library for implementing norm‑required safety functions, which greatly reduces software development time. At the same time, users can add custom functions to differentiate their machines.
easy 280 consists of two libraries: easy 280 Safety and easy 280 Standard.
easy 280 Safety provides pre‑certified function blocks (certified by TÜV Süd) for mandatory safety functions such as outrigger monitoring and position supervision.
easy 280 Standard implements basic MEWP functions including automatic levelling and automatic transport position return.
The software uses abstracted interfaces that are independent of specific sensors or actuators, allowing full freedom in component selection.
Combined with digsy® fusion S, easy 280 significantly reduces development and certification effort, while preserving full flexibility for custom function design.
